Marching into wellness

It's March, and I’ve got something near and dear to my heart on my brain – wellness! Now, y'all know I am no stranger to how FULL life can be, but it's super important we take some time to focus on our health. This month as we move closer to spring, it just seems a natural time to take stock of where we’ve been and where we want to go. So, let's lace up our sneakers and march into wellness together! 

 

First things first, let's chat about what "wellness" really means. It's so much more than just sippin' green smoothies and hittin' the gym – it's a full-on lifestyle, folks! I'm talking mind, body, and spirit harmony. And the joy is found in the journey.

 

Now, as a homeschooling mama who works both in and outside the home, I full on relate to the balancing (and often juggling) act! But, here's the scoop: wellness is all about making small choices that lead to a healthy and fulfilling life. And guess what? You don't have to do it alone! In fact, it’s better if you don’t and I'd love it if you joined us in our online collective where you have a community who will walk with you in wellness.

 

Here are some simple steps to kickstart you this month:

  • Get Movin': Whether it's a morning stroll or a dance party in the kitchen, find ways to get your body groovin'. It's not just about losing pounds; it's about gaining energy, pumping your lymph, and feeling fabulous!

  • Feed Your Body + Soul: Nourish yourself with whole foods that make you feel good from the inside out. And hey, sometimes an occasional treat is nice – balance is key!

  • Chillax: Take time to unwind and do things you love. Read a book, soak in a hot bath, or just nap with your furry friends. Your mind (and soul) will thank you!

  • Stay Connected: Surround yourself with positive peeps who lift you up. Whether it's family, friends, or your faith community, these connections are the heart of a happy life.

  • Keep Learning: Never stop exploring new things. Take a course, attend a workshop, or just dive into a topic that sparks your curiosity. Knowledge is power, y'all! Stay curious.

Remember, wellness is a personal journey, and it's all about progress, not perfection. Small choices that add up. We don’t want to just dream of a better, healthier life, but actually live it! So, let's adventure down this path with gratitude for where we've been, and hope for the future. We've got this!
