Transparency post: I've had a crazy last month and a half. Anyone else? This time of year feels like it ramps up anyway, but this October has felt like it's been forever and too fast all at the same time.

We have had several special events, lots of family visiting, vacation, Church functions and celebrations, and we're wrapping up the week with 2 fall parties, taekwondo testing, and Halloween. Plus I've been working on a few projects on the side, including something new I'll be launching shortly! (Stay tuned!) But, oy.

It has been SO much fun, and my heart has been full the whole time. I have made it a priority to be present at each thing, not worrying about the next or letting my mind be too boggled down. That made all the difference and it was an amazing month filled with so many precious memories.

But y'all. My house. It already had things that were getting pushed to the side prior to all of this, but now I have little piles everywhere and in every room there is some big project that requires my attention and can't be delegated. (This is my November job, going room by room to prepare for advent and the holidays.)

Which is great to have a goal, but that doesn't get my laundry done TODAY. My garden bathtub is FULL with dirty clothes. I mean, it is so bad, last night I was rifling through a clean clothes basket hoping and praying to have a pair of clean underwear to wear today. Victory! Found my last pair at the bottom! If not, I would've just worn bathing suit bottoms. Adapt and overcome.

I have been nearing all out neglect of my personal care too. Almost constantly dehydrated, breaking out, and not sleeping as much as I know I should. Not prioritizing my morning time with Jesus like normal. Eating out waaaayyyy too much.

Why am I sharing this? Just to keep it real. How I roll. Accomplished several things this month, but not necessarily on the home front. It's cool, the piles aren't going anywhere, and next month I'll shift focus and recommit to a plan and personal routine.

Today I'm snuggling this squishy stuffie dragon of a child in our homeschool co-op (isn't it darling???). I actually did shower this morning after way too long. We were here on time and I had a call with a friend that left me joyful and loved. This life is good. And I love to live ALL of it...to the FULL.

I have no real tips for you today, just offering some commiseration and grace. If you're overwhelmed, pause. Take a deep breath, and another, and another. Pray. Be still. Even for just a moment. Then keep on keepin' on. I'm right here with ya. And remember you are loved. Even when you feel like a hotmess, you can still show up just as you are.

Also, be on the lookout for new things as I expand my services to better serve you!
