Home…4 years and counting

Four years ago today we moved into this house. And officially now going forward, this will be the longest place I've ever lived since leaving home for college.

We bought this house site unseen but I just knew that it was meant for us, even halfway across the country. I studied the pictures and videos so much beforehand, that when I moved in, I felt like I had been here before. I knew where all my furniture would go and where photos would hang on the wall.

I still love this house so much, and after four years of doing life here, homeschooling, hosting family and friends, working from home, deployments, gains and losses...it has truly become our home. Our sanctuary. Our safe place.

Given my husband's job, we are never certain just how long we will be in one place, but we are praying for continuity here. Florida, this house, the neighborhood, our church, our homeschool community, and all the people who have become family, have been an immeasurable blessing to us. And for that we are so very thankful. 🧡

“For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.” Hebrews 3:4
