‘Medicine Ball’ Tea

A copycat of the once secret menu item at Starbies is just what this nurse orders when she (or anyone else really) is feeling under the weather! I also prefer my recipe to theirs because I buy better ingredients. And let’s face it, it is way more affordable to DIY at home. Bonus: you don’t have to leave your house!

It can’t get any easier than this:

  • spearmint (or any mint) tea, organic

  • lemon balm tea, organic

  • raspberry leaf tea (or peach or other fruit that sounds yummy), organic

  • raw honey

  • organic lemon juice

Steep all 3 tea bags in a big ole cup for about 5-10 mins. Then add splash of lemon juice (or more to taste). Lastly, add the raw honey to desired sweetness!

(Listen, I don’t get all hung up on measurements and such. Play around with it using this as the base. No need to overcomplicate anything, especially if you are feeling crummy.)

Not only do all of these have beneficial ingredients to support your body when you feel down, it is warm, soothing, and delicious. Oh, you might want to bookmark this for easy referece later. Enjoy!
