Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

Few things satisfy on a cold day like a nice warm mug of hot chocolate. Conventional brands are filled with sketchy ingredients and are less than healthy, though. But this trending treat is filled with protein and fat to help satisfy you without the worry. I was skeptical of the taste but once I tried it, I was converted! The best hot cocoa I ever had, for real.

There is no guilt in letting the kiddos indulge in this. And it's for you, too, mama! Enjoy in the evening to help balance your blood sugar before bed. And bonus: using a good quality cocoa powder helps remineralize you.

Warm all ingredients on the stovetop and sip slowly to savor the goodness.

Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

  • 1 cup of beef bone broth (we prefer it over chicken)

  • 3/4 cup whole milk

  • 1.5 T cacao powder (this brand is great!)

  • 1 T real maple syrup

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

  • Optional 1 T collagen
