A long weigh

Woah - once again it has been a hot second. I for one am in shock that we are already mid-June. Maycember has continued on for me this month. With many areas of my life I feel I am straddling spring and fall, and all I want is to be solidly in summah-mode! I am working hard on completing my course, planning out some much needed changes with my routines and homeschool, and juggling kid schedules with camps and activities that continue. I'm currently on a weekend girl's getaway with one of my besties, so I am going to relax and exhale before heading back in for the rest of the month. 

My husband and I just celebrated 23 years of marriage last weekend. Here is a pic from our anniversary dinner...same place, same day, one year apart! Many of you know I have been on a weight loss journey (and if you didn't, pop in to my community group, won't ya?).

This week, I hit 70 lbs down on the nose and I am SO excited!!! I can see it and feel it in my body and I am so dang grateful to just be where I am right now. Only about 2/3 through my journey and I have a ways to go, but I'm celebrating how far I've come. Even with meds, it hasn't always been easy; but for me, totally worth it and a game changer for moving the needle when nothing else was.

This is not me body shaming me...even though I haven't loved how I looked in every stage, I love myself and my journey has made me who I am today. I just wanted to show the comparison of where I was and where I am now. And, at EVERY size, I still took the freaking pictures and showed up in my life.

I am worth this investment in my health and future.
