It’s all about connection

Meet my new doctor and my beautiful friend Casey. Casey is scoping out new providers so I invited her to come to my doctor's health fair today, and I introduced them. In the few months I have been a patient, Dr James has shown herself to be responsive, compassionate, investigative, and a true partner on my healthcare journey...someone I can have a real relationship with, and not just feel like a number in the cattle call.

When you refer someone, especially to a service provider, it is a high compliment. I am entrusting my person into their care, and expect them to be taken care of and treated with love and respect. If Casey chooses to pursue this path, I have no doubt in my mind about Dr James. If you know me, you know customer service matters immensely to me. And this may just be a great match. I'm so happy to even have the opportunity to introduce them face to face.

All around me this week, in so many different scenarios, the power of connection, word of mouth, and the value of personal relationships has been made abundantly clear over and over. This great marketplace exchange is how businesses, communities, and societies are built. Relating to one another and sharing our knowledge, experience, opinions, information, and expertise openly makes a big difference!

I am here for all.of.this.

Helping people by facilitating connections fills a need/want and bridging that gap is a huge blessing. I love being a person who helps connect people, services, information, ideas, and products. I appreciate immensely all who put their trust in me, and rest assured, I take this job very seriously.

Thank you to all who share your stuff with me, too. Some of my biggest blessings have been from personal recommendations. It's how the world goes 'round, y'all.
